INTRODUCTION
For almost as long as men have lived in Ireland, tales have been told of the Fae. They are passed from one generation to the next and tell of devilishly wicked creatures, far more likely to steal your children than grant them a wish.
‘Mrs Mulligan’s Mischief of Magpies’ is my take on traditional
Irish fairy tales and fables. Most are told from the perspective of the Fae and show that men and women are quite often as devilishly wicked as the fairies themselves.
